About TrueStare

Built to make real-time data and AI processing one boring API call away.

What TrueStare is

TrueStare is a hosted API for the operational glue every modern application ends up needing — trending keyword data, crypto market snapshots, domain enrichment, AI text processing, and a handful of pre-wired automation workflows. Each of those is a project in itself if you build it from scratch. We’ve done the building so you don’t have to.

The Service runs on a single fast endpoint per use case, returns JSON, and is priced so a hobby project pays nothing and a small business pays $29 to $79 a month. There is no enterprise sales motion. There are no API call rounds where the salesperson rings you about "custom requirements."

Why we built it

The original idea came out of a frustration: every side project we shipped seemed to end up needing the same handful of capabilities — some flavor of trending data, some text processing layer, and some kind of webhook automation. We’d wire each one up from scratch every time, paying for three separate vendors and gluing them together with brittle Lambda code.

So we built TrueStare. The data side is pre-scraped and refreshed on a 30-minute cadence, so reads are millisecond-fast and don’t depend on whichever upstream is twitchy that day. The text side proxies to multiple language models with a small abstraction so you don’t have to think about provider quirks. The automation side wraps n8n with a clean HTTP entry point.

What it’s good for

What it’s not

TrueStare is not an AI lab, not a hyperscale data vendor, and not an enterprise compliance suite. We’re aimed at builders who want a working API and a clear bill at the end of the month, not at procurement teams. If your use case requires SOC 2 attestation, signed BAAs, or a dedicated VPC, you’re probably in the wrong place — and we’ll tell you that on the contact form rather than waste your time.

How we make money

Three revenue lines: paid API subscriptions (Starter, Pro, Business tiers), a small affiliate stake when our automation workflows reference third-party tools that we trust, and ads on the documentation and editorial pages of the website. The free tier is real and meant to be useful — it’s not a stripped marketing demo. The signup page tells you exactly what’s included.
